Life with Aniela has been a long process. The idea of creating a webpage came almost 6 months ago. There wasn’t a name nor an idea of what I wanted to do. I had some inspiration but that was it. After some time brainstorming with my boyfriend, we came up with a list of what I wanted to be on the website, which was followed by the name. I mapped out how I envisioned the website to look with a piece of paper and a pencil. For some reason everything sounded so simple in my head. I neglected to visualise the effort that goes into creating a blog. I thought it was as simple as just picking a theme that matched my idea and everything would be smooth sailing from that point. I was wrong! I can’t even begin to add up all the hours spent learning how to code specific things, let alone learning how to get that slide show in the header and working properly. Plus there are all the hours spent tweaking the formatting and the colour scheme. It’s finally complete though!
I have loaded over two weeks of post already, in addition to some random posts, just to give you a feel as to what you can expect to see here. Since it is early on and I am new to this, I will let the page run for a week and resume with regular posts on March 30th. Over time, there will probably be numerous modifications made to optimise this page and improve it based on feedback and any mistakes that I recognise. I originally wasn’t going to do this but I have created a Facebook page for Life with Aniela. Feel free to like the page. I will be posting updates there when there is a new post, as well as, anything else that comes to mind. Thanks for stopping by!
